Native AVAX staking
Stake AVAX on the P-Chain, right from your phone.
Wyro lets you delegate AVAX to an Avalanche validator (or register your own) without a separate staking site or a custodian. Move AVAX to the P-Chain, choose a validator and a period, and follow the unlock from your home screen.
From your wallet to a validator.
Delegating is Avalanche’s own staking, with no receipt token and no smart contract in the middle. Your AVAX comes back with rewards when the period ends.
Move AVAX from the C-Chain, where you swap, to the P-Chain, where you stake. Compare uptime and fee, then pick a period from 14 days to a year. The unlock widget counts down to the day your stake comes back.
Rather keep AVAX liquid? Supply it in Earn and withdraw when the protocol’s liquidity allows.

Estimated reward
30.16 AVAX
≈ $260.85 at $8.65
Estimate from Avalanche’s reward formula, the same one the app uses, with the AVAX supply on November 4, 2026 (475.9M) and the post-Helicon rate floor. Rewards are paid at the end and only if the validator meets 90% uptime. Your AVAX can’t be moved until the period ends. Not a guarantee of returns.
Staking at a glance
Good to know. Staked AVAX is locked until the staking period ends. Rewards depend on the validator’s uptime and are estimates, not guarantees. Accounts imported from a single private key don’t have a P-Chain address and can’t stake natively.

FAQ
Staking: common questions
Something else? Visit support or email us.
How much AVAX do I need to stake?
You can delegate from 25 AVAX. Running your own validator requires at least 2,000 AVAX. Keep a small amount of AVAX on the C-Chain and P-Chain for network fees.
How long is my AVAX locked?
Delegations last from 14 days to one year, and you choose the period up front. Your AVAX and rewards return to your P-Chain address when it ends.
Can I stake AVAX with a Ledger in Wyro?
Yes. Wyro supports Ledger Nano X, Stax, and Flex over Bluetooth. Once the Avalanche Ledger app is initialized in Account Center, you can stake from your Ledger account.
Does Wyro take a cut of my staking rewards?
Validators charge a delegation fee on rewards, which Wyro shows before you choose. Network fees apply to the transfer and staking transactions, and you see them before you confirm.
What happens if my validator goes offline?
Avalanche doesn’t slash staked AVAX. If a validator’s uptime falls below the network’s requirement, delegators may not earn rewards for that period. That’s why Wyro shows uptime before you pick.
