Security
See it before you sign it.
Wyro is self-custodial: your keys are encrypted on your phone and you sign every transaction. For Avalanche C-Chain transactions, Wyro runs a simulation first and shows the expected balance changes, so there are fewer surprises.
Preview, then sign.
Your recovery phrase is encrypted with a key derived from your PIN and kept in your phone’s hardware-backed Keychain or Keystore. Nothing is sent without your approval.
C-Chain transactions are simulated first, so you see what leaves and what arrives. If a simulation is pending or fails, you have to acknowledge it before you can sign. Or sign on a Ledger Nano X, Stax, or Flex. Keys stay on the device.
The browser loads HTTPS sites only and refuses blind eth_sign. 1-Click is off by default and never covers dapps or Ledger accounts. Nobody, Wyro included, can recover your wallet. Write the phrase down offline. No ads, no analytics SDKs, and your data isn’t sent to AI services.
Security at a glance
Good to know. Simulation shows the expected result against current chain state; it isn’t a guarantee and doesn’t replace your own judgment. Always check who you’re interacting with.

FAQ
Security: common questions
Something else? Visit support or email us.
Can Wyro see or move my funds?
No. Your keys are encrypted on your device and every transaction needs your signature. Wyro’s servers never hold your keys.
What does transaction simulation show?
The expected balance changes (which tokens leave and enter your wallet) and whether the transaction would fail. It doesn’t decode every contract call.
Which Ledger devices work?
Ledger Nano X, Stax, and Flex over Bluetooth. Nano S and S Plus don’t have Bluetooth, so they can’t pair with a phone.
Does Wyro track me?
No. The app has no ads, no analytics SDKs, and no tracking, and it doesn’t send your data to AI services.
